1. Find out if your internet addiction is caused by some other problem you used to have.
-did you used to be addicted to smoking or drinking before?
-are you filling you previous addiction with a new one?
2. Learn to cope with stress.
-do you go to the internet to blow off steam?
-are you shy around people and rely on the internet for communication with others?
3. Get help from others.
-get some friends or family members to help you with your addiction
-ask for advice on what to do with your addiction

-take brakes from using the internet instead of using it for hours on end
-change your daily routine to alter how much you use the internet
-make friends with people that don't use the internet often and spend time with them

I think once additced to the Inernet, persons may show poor performance in school or work. This can lead to failing subjects in school or losing their present job. They may replace their social life with Inernet activities. And also Inernet addiction can result to health issures. There also have other negative effects of Inernet addiction. I think this article give us engough information to overcome IA. And I think change the schedule is a very good idea. Work out a schedule of healthy activities and try to minimize free time in the schedule. And also I think people can get help from therapists, treatment programs, and support groups that can help in treating this disorder.
